The Echo Meter is a commercial tool for recording and measuring levels of reflected sound. More specifically for recording Bat’s ultrasonic calls. This tool is for identifying different species in a specific area. Or for conducting surveys on the population and diversity of Bats. They have a port for both Apple phones and Android phones. It works by recording the call then directly running it through the kaleidoscope module. The module will then analyse the call and try to identify it.
