Wildlife Acoustics Song Meter® Mini 2 AA are here, new & improved. Featuring a Hinged and lockable case with a IP67 weatherproof rating, tripod mount, and increased battery life.

When selecting the new Song Meter Mini 2 there are 2 options to consider first. The mini 2 comes pre assembled with AA compartments or 18650 Lithium compartments.

New improvements include:

• A redesigned case with lockable, hinged enclosure enabling the use of a cable lock.
• When placing an order the option for AA or 18650 Lithium batteries are available.
• Greatly improved battery life utilising 8 AA batteries, double from the previous 4 batteries.
• IP67 weather proof rating to withstand the harsher environments.
• AA Run time: Up to 530 hours (Using low power mode, 24khz mono)
• Tripod mount.

Please Note: Always ensure that batteries are installed correctly (not upside down) or with uneven charge as this may cause batteries to overheat or leak.

Firmware update available to assist recorders operating in cold temperatures.
