The Jake Foot traps are the toughest trap on the Market — Rigged & ready to Go! They are made from the highest quality American steel.
Jake traps are made by the American Trapping Hall of Fame Family, the Conners. Jim Conner designed the Jake for his own personal use and since then it is now arguably the best trap on the market.
This is due to the strength of steel it is manufactured from. Which makes the trap last much longer than most other brands.
Jake traps are a dogless pan, with a double gun notch, a large heavy-duty pan. Easily adjustable pan tension, depending on your target.
Special 4-coil wire lever springs are made from the best grade music wire available to produce both POWER and SPEED.
The jaws have a rivet to the base and a 3/16″ Thicker Jaw addition with smooth rounded jaw edges. The loose jaw lays flat once the tension is released from the trap.
The jaws have specially designed rubber pads, replacement pads are available!
