3DR Solo Aerial Drone

3DR Solo Aerial Drone is a lightweight compact drone, it weighs less than 2 kg and can produce HDMI 640 x 520. You do not require a drone licence when flying the 3DR. It has high end specifications usually only found in larger more expensive drones.

Flight time in Australian flying conditions is 20 minutes while using the Go-pro, with a range of 1 Km plus. A range of mapping tools can be utilized and 3dr has developed a free mapping program to assist the pilot.

3DR is making breakthroughs with autonomous flight and camera control, it’s possible to attach gimbles and mobilize the camera. It has a self-operating mode to fly itself back to the point of departure. Solo is the first consumer drone to support Go Pro’s and to connect live HD video straight to your device through a wireless connection.
