We are excited to introduce the BirdWeather PUC (Portable Universal Codec) to our range, an AI powered globally connected / interactive bioacoustics platform.

Packed with dual microphones, WiFi/BLE, GPS, environmental sensors, and a built-in neural engine, all in a weatherproof enclosure, PUC is ready to capture all that nature can throw at it!

Back Yard Birding

Connect your PUC to the home wifi for it to continuously monitor and identify bird songs in real time.

Playback soundscapes, calls or share with your friends and family on the Bird weather map, stay connected to nature. App compatible and available on both IOS & Android.

Mobile Birding

Featuring a built-in uSD card (32gb included). The PUC can travel with you wherever you go and save the calls captured on the outing.

Once back connected to wifi again it will automatically upload and identify all the saved calls.

Habitat Monitoring

Multiple power options are available from 3 x AA’s & external power to keep your PUC active for the full deployment. Either save the information to the in-built uSD Card or export with a mobile hotspot such as star link.

The automated workflow takes care of everything from recording schedules to soundscape analysis, and our BirdWeather cloud gives you numerous options for data extraction.

BirdNET uses a neural network to identify birds by the sounds they make and is a joint project between the K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Chemnitz University of Technology.
