Matlock 2.0 Camera Trap System

The Matlock 2.0 is the latest update for this Australian made streaming camera trap trigger. The original Matlock system has been operating successfully in the harsh Western Australian environment for over five years and is responsible for the live capture of over 6000 pigs.

The camera is capable of storing all footage to the on board SD card and/or stream live to the cloud. The two wireless self-contained trigger receivers (black box) are connected via cable to the industrial grade trap release. The camera has long range night capabilities giving the user the ability to locate the camera further from the trap, facilitating a wider field of view. The trap can be triggered remotely by any Australian 4G/3G network via the customised App/dashboard or wireless fob. The App/dashboard is free of charge unlike our competitor’s that require a monthly payment.

To assist in encouraging stragglers into the trap you can remotely trigger the feeder via the App/dashboard, this feature is unique to the Matlock 2.0. The signal between the camera and black box is wireless eliminating failure due to wind, tampering, animals etc. This also allows for quick and easy setup. When movement inside the trap is detected the system will call you allowing you to live view how many targets are in your tap and respond accordingly.
