Welch’s lures does both baits and lures. Welch’s was made by an Ohio man, Scott Welch. After he was trapping in Ohio for a while using other lure brands he decided to make his own. He had one of the best mentors Carroll Black to show him the ropes. Carroll Black is the founder of Blackie’s Blend Lure, which is a globally known name in the industry. Scott ended up taking over Blackie’s Blend a few years before Carroll passed away. Keeping the legacy going as well as his own.
