Lanes Foot trap

The Lanes Foot Trap are a fairly famous original foot trap that has been around since the 1840’s. The steel jaw foot traps were originally made in the the 1840’s by a one Henry Lanes. Lanes have a range of traps for different species from dogs, foxes, cats and rabbits. They were to provide a solution for the rabbit boom here in Australia. The traps were manufactured in Newcastle. Unfortunately steel jaw traps are on ban from being too inhumane. The lanes  is no longer in production and are a relic from the past.
